All inaugural year 泰坦雷声 members will continue to receive scholarship funds for every year they remain in the program. We are pleased to also offer scholarships to students who audition 和 are selected for leadership roles in the b和 in their returnee years.

The 2024 marching b和 season will officially begin with a preseason camp that opens with student leader training on August 21 和 ends on September 3. General members will arrive between August 23-26 for full-time camp, depending on section.

When fall semester classes begin, the b和 will meet MWF afternoons (4:30-6:15 pm.)，周二晚上(7点至9点).m.), 和 Saturday mornings before all home football games. The rehearsals avoid conflicts with most classes 和 allow resident hall students ample time to attend evening meals. The amount of weekly rehearsals will be reduced whenever the 性能进度表 allows, 和 there are very few commitments after early November.

Do I need to have experience or know how to march? 不需要行军经验! Instrumentalists should play at a high-school level. Contact the director with further questions!

No. While there are often music majors in a marching b和, it isn’t required to join. In Year 2, only 25% of the b和 majored in a music area. Students are invited to just come out 和 make friends with people in your major 和 beyond.

是的. You are welcome to perform in as many ensembles as you wish, 包括Bolt Pep B和, 风合奏, 交响乐团, Jazz Ensembles 和 other instrumental 和 choral offerings in the Department of Music.

是的. Marching b和 can be taken for either 0 credit or 1 credit. It also qualifies for USP Explore Culture credit, which is necessary for every major.
