New Title IX Regulations

The U.S. Department of Education Released Final Title IX Regulations, Providing Vital Protections Against Sex Discrimination | U.S. Department of Education on April 19, 2024!  The final regulations are effective on August 1, 2024, and apply to complaints of sex discrimination regarding alleged conduct that occurs on or after that date.  最新出的网赌网址大全 Title IX and The UW System Office are working on an implementation plan for campus rollouts.  New information will be forthcoming as it is available. What Is Title IX?

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects individuals from discrimination based on sex in any educational program or activity operated by recipients receiving federal financial assistance. Sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking are forms of sex discrimination prohibited by Title IX. Sexual misconduct can have the effect of denying individuals equal access to, and benefit from, 最新出的网赌网址大全 programs and activities.
